CSS TYPEFACE
HODNOP is a typeface for the web. Experimenting with HTML and CSS, I designed the typeface to resemble blocks, enabling it to be arranged into different configurations not only for legibility, but as an expressive form. This was partially a visual design exercise to challenge myself in learning HTML and CSS and considering the concept of a typeface on screen versus on a printed page.
For the most part, I was focused on creating a simple form that could be easily configured. It reinforced my fascination with basic visual elements that can expand into more complex and flexible systems. To accomplish this, I established a few rules alongside a few exceptions.
